Rental Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must have a major credit card in your name.
- Must carry full coverage automotive insurance that is transferable to the vehicle.
International Renters
Vehicles are available to international visitors with a valid passport and driver’s license from their home country. We can arrange for insurance coverage for those international visitors renting for a minimum of two days.
Please note that international renters who do not have their own insurance coverage will be subject to a higher security deposit ($5k – $15k, depending on vehicle).
Rental Period
One 24 hour period constitutes a rental day. We offer a 30 minute grace period for returns before late charges apply. Please allow a 60 minute window for your delivery to insure that your rental is properly serviced and inspected for the safety and pleasure of your experience with us.
At the time of rental
At the time of rental, you must have with you a current valid Driver’s License, insurance card, and the credit card with which you reserved your rental.
Private Drivers
For those of you that would like to sit back and enjoy the sights, we can arrange a private driver for an additional charge. Please contact us for more information.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled 72 hours or less prior to the original pick-up or delivery date are subject to a $500 cancellation fee for all exotic vehicles. If cancellation notice is received before 72 hours of the reservation date, the rental fees although non-refundable may be applied as a one-time courtesy credit toward future use within 180 days of the original reservation.
Security Deposit
A credit card hold will be required 24 hours before vehicle is delivered to cover damages, refueling if needed, and overage of mileage. Deposit will range from $1000.00 – $10,000.00 depending on the vehicle’s value and insurance policy submitted. This deposit will be released when the vehicle is returned.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for vehicle rentals. However, our goal is total satisfaction for our clients, so in certain situations we may offer credit for additional rental days (i.e. weather). This is solely at our discretion.
In the event of an unforeseen mechanical failure during or prior to a rental, we will make every effort to repair or replace your vehicle with a similar or better model at no additional cost to you.
Additional Drivers
Additional drivers are permitted, as long as they meet the same requirements as the primary renter. There is no charge for additional drivers.
Vehicle Deliveries
We can deliver the vehicle anywhere in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the Palm Beach area for your convenience at no additional charge. For deliveries outside of our designated local area please contact our office.
Holidays
No vehicle deliveries will be made on Thanksgiving, December 25, or December 31. Reservations covering these holidays may be subject to a minimum rental period, with all deliveries and pickups occurring before and after the above mentioned holidays.
Driving Area Restrictions
All default rentals are limited to South Florida from West Palm to South Miami. On special rates we allow our vehicles to be driven anywhere in the United States, however certain restrictions apply. Please notify us if you plan to drive the vehicle outside of Florida. Customers must have written authorization from Miami Dream Cars to drive the vehicle out of state. All vehicles have GPS Tracking, and any driving outside of the designated area will default on the deposit of the rental.
Mileage Limitations
The 24-hour period of the rental allows a maximum of 100 miles per day for low exotic vehicles (like Mercedes Benz), and 70 miles for the high exotic vehicles (like Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.)
Any additional mileage will have a charge of $3.50 per mile.
Airport Pickup and Dropoff
We offer airport pickup and drop-off service to the surrounding Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach airports. Please see us for our rates.
Smoking Policies
For the pleasure of all future renters and protection of the interior, we do not allow smoking in our vehicles. A cleaning charge will apply if this policy is violated.
Off Roading
All renters agree the vehicle will not be used for off-roading, driven on a racetrack, or be involved in any illegal exhibition of speed. Also, signing the liability waiver is required.
Payment Methods
Miami Dream Cars accepts the following methods of payment: Visa, Master Card, or Discover. *Personal & business checks are not accepted.
